PROJECT 1: DISABILITY EXPERIENCE PAVILION

Enfold

In this project, 2 group mates and I are required to synthesize simple and quick design solutions as a result of a study on precedents to design a disabilities Experience Pavilion that is meant to serve as a small recreational space in a hypothetical park for people with auditory disabilities. We explored spatial challenges for people with hearing disabilities and architectural elements which aide in the spatial experience of people with physical disabilities. Additionaly, materials and the way that they are put together assist the user group of hearing disability  in using the structure and space are also explored.

SITE ANALYSIS & DESIGN RESPONSE

Wellness Masterplan

My tutorial group and I are tasked to identify the intangible qualities together with the physical inventory that shape the character of the site from provided site data and further information gained from site visit. As a conclusion to the analysed information, our group reorganize the demarcated site area which is the Wellness Zone Masterplan, to serve as the base for their Project 2: Wellness Center PLUS.

PROJECT 2 B: WELLNESS CENTER PLUS

Trinity Wellness Centre

The outcome is an individual design proposal in the form of the Trinity Wellness Centre to respond to the environment, masterplan and the targeted user groups. The objective of the Trinity Wellness Centre is to enable the community of senior citizens to interact with younger generations through leisure activities in architectural spaces that  improves the users' wellness. To enhance the architectural spaces and user wellness, environmental poetics in relation to the basic natural context and existing built context and sustainable design strategies are also incorporated.
